Paris is Perfect

Let me just start by saying this; I completely adore this city and everything about it. I was smitten the second I arrived.
Even on our first day in Paris, I was already thinking up excuses to come back.

We were awestruck by how picturesque and detailed everything was from the buildings to the streets and bridges. Everything was just gorgeous beyond belief.  We were especially surprised at the size of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.  No picture really gives them justice.

Beauty and aesthetics aside, the best part of Paris was the food.  Oh.  My.  Gosh. We basically ate our way through Paris and it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Especially coming from London where the food was mediocre. Croissants, macaroons, escargots!! Haha but seriously… my favorite food by far were the crepes… They were completely out of this world.  I was shocked that anything could taste that good. If you are planning a trip to Paris you better make time for Creperie de Josselin!  It will change your life because it changed mine.  My husband was sure to research where the best creperie in Paris was and that is what we found and soon found out why.  Parisians are really funny when it comes to eating out.  The food is brought to your table almost immediately after ordering but getting the check takes FOREVER!  Eating out as a Parisian is an all day thing… literally.

We were expecting the people of Paris to be a little rude but we were pleasantly surprised.  We only had one run in with a really rude Parisian while there.

If you read my post about my kidney stone, you know I was downing water our whole trip…so lets just say I know where every restroom is in Paris, London, and Greece.  I ran up to this lady working in an ice cream shop next to the Eiffel Tower and asked her kindly where the “toilette” was.  She was so offended that I didn’t say “bonjour?” before asking where the bathroom was that she started yelling at me! It was obvious that I needed a restroom pronto, and she wouldn’t even tell me where one was! Rudeeeee. But other than that everyone was extremely nice to us and very helpful.

This cute little family with 3 adorable girls ate lunch next to us at Creperie de Josselin and they even gave us a crepe they ordered… so nice. Their cute daughters spoke English and French and the older one (5 years old) was teaching us some words in French.  It was the cutest thing ever. I would probably really enjoy a French class if it was taught by an adorable little 5 year old. Yes, I'm a little baby hungry. haha.

Ok, so I don't know why, but I can't figure out how to move the pictures so they are in chronological order. That's why they are a little scattered...haha sorry! :)

Slightly overwhelmed with excitement!

Just strolling around with the most amazing view.

Versailles!

This place was stunning.

Ok, I have to tell the story behind this picture. We asked this guy to take a picture for us and the fish eye lens was on so the camera is supposed to be held really close to us. He kept backing up, and we kept having to move him forward lol then he goes to take the picture and he kept pressing the complete wrong button HAHA Matt tried moving his finger on the right button but he still slowly slid his finger back to the wrong place..it happened like 6 times before he actually took the picture.HAHAH I obviously couldn't hold in the laughter, it was just so funny

Completely in love with this man & place!

Hall of Mirrors.

I could roam these streets every day with him and never get bored.

Flowers everywhere.

Sheer amazement!

Notre Dame! And yes I'm wearing a french beret :)

Forget the birds, my husband is SO handsome, like woah.

Love this shot.

Loved this little frenchie. He was so funny.

We rode on this thing for 3 hours and went all around it was the BEST! Besides when we almost died from a big ol bus.

Inside the Louvre!

Can't believe we were here!

Little teeny tiny picture that is EXTREMELY famous.

My first crepe in Paris!

Close up of the beauty.

2 seconds after this pic, the guys behind us jumped OVER us no joke hahaha

THIS will change your life forever.

My taste buds have never been happier, and my jeans never tighter! lol

This is how they tow in Paris hahah

Hi, I'm Parisian now.

one word: HUNGRY.

The victim. After Matt pelted him with a cork, he did a full-on flip, ended up on his back flailing around then managed to stand up again and started walking around very confused for a while...haha so mean but we couldn't stop laughing. We like animals I promise.

Yes.

When we got to Paris my back was in pain so this stud carried ALL of our bags to our flat. Were talking like 3 miles people...he's a keeper.

Glass bottled water.

This is the place.

Inside the Notre Dame.

Look how far this Sephora goes back........mind blown. For your info, Matt didn't let me go inside because he knew we would of been in there the rest of the night lol

Sunrise from our flat.

Taken from my iPhone, compliments to the photographer: myself :)

Also taken from my iPhone, I adore the street sides in Paris!

This totally happened. For the record, we like the escargot on cruise ships better.

Inside Laduree, drooling over these beauties. Don't ask how much we spent here over the 4 days we were in Paris...

Yummy ice cream, yummy view.

Once again inside Laduree.

We drank out of baby bottles while eating the worst meal ever. Fondue is nasty. I thought Matt was going to get tipsy it tasted like wine so strongly, BLEHHH!!

Dinner right on the

Beef carpaccio, delicious.

Tomato mozzarella salad, scrumptious!

My maiden name <3 I still don't feel old enough to have a maiden name!

Some of the damage that was done at this heaven on earth.

Inside Versailles!
We will see you soon Paris! Thanks for the BEST time! For those of you wondering, I did end up passing my kidney stone the 2nd day we were in Paris and didn't have any pain at all the rest of the trip. WAHOO!! I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself for toughing it out the whole trip till this point!
